Stopping off from work at Gatwick on this day 3rd Oct during the seventies netted the following, 3/10/74 9Q-CLI DC.10 Air Zaire, LN-KCM Navajo, N5306M Merlin 3, 3/10/75 No.93 Nord 262 French A/F, PH-BAB Navajo, F-BXSL Kingair. 3/10/76 D-ILGT Cessna 310, F-BVVC Cessna 210, 3/10/78 HP-793 B.707 Bouraq Indonesia , G-LCCO Navajo, OY-BIG Cessna 421, and 3/10/79 PH-PRM PA.44 Seminole.

Seeing PH-BAB in your list reminds me of being at Blackbushe during a Farnborough air show week in, if my memory serves me correctly 1978. On that day the whole fleet of Business Air Services PA31s were lined up on the apron. We had PH-BAA, BAB, BAS, NAS. Having seen PH-BAS mentioned in many airport movements in the LAAS magazine, I remember thinking how nice it was to finally see it in real life!
