Morning guys,
Tad late on this one... Think this was a trip (driving) that me and Mrs S did to Bruges... As with most of these trips if there was something (airfield) interesting en route we’d (meaning me) would normally find a reason for a slight detour... This time it was Ostend Airport which, at the time, attracted quite a variety of Eastern Block aircraft... Anyway, here goes.
RA76490 IL-76 ACS UR82029 AN-124 Antonov Airlines RA26044 AN-26B Bykovo Avia/ACS LZ-RAA AN-12 Rila Airlines EW76737 IL-76 Trans Avia Export SU-GAC A300F Egyptair UR76704 IL-76 ER-IBV IL-76 UR-UCT IL-76 Azov Avia LZ-SFN AN-12 Air Sofia YA-GAF B707 Uganda Airlines
There were a few that I couldn’t ID, so if anyone has any details of these I’d be very grateful...
IL-76 (no idea of airline) AN-26 (ditto) DC-3 (ditto) DC-8 (ditto)
So what should have been a spotting free mini break, turned into quite a nice little Pot-fest...
Cheers guys.
Bill

Hi Bill
The DC3 could have been LX-DKT. There are a few pictures of it at Ostend on the internet in a basic grey colour with various parts missing. It is also reported as being there for about 15 years.
Hope that helps.

Thanks very much. Bill
