Bloody weather forecast.... Got a few free hours in Yorkshire this weekend so was looking forward to visiting Sherburn and Bagby amongst others. But the forecast is bad so may not be worthwhile visiting. Will have to do a few wrecks and relics instead and possibly Elvington. Need to check to see if there is anything I need there.

Cloudy morning, sunny afternoon and now back to cloud over Cornwall. Hitting the book today have been HZ-A5 A318, EC-MER A320, F-HECD Falcon 7X, and 177704 C17. Also noted a Jet 2 Boeing 737 on air test out of Hurn, no reg showing but Mode S 406E2E - sure will tie up from the appropriate thread in due course.

Same here in Weybridge. Brief periods of blue stuff yesterday afternoon but I was doing other things, made just one D-AIAD A321 of Condor routing Hanover-Tenerife, but at least that was one more than the previous two days!

Not too bad here now . Skies have cleared quite well, well enough to see the Canadian Armed Forces A310-304 15002 go across. Already have 15001 and 15003 so that fills a nice hole

Was gardening most of the day, just one more frame, N97DQ GLEX heading W at around 11.30, FL430 not trailing.
Interesting - PlaneFinder showed 130604 C130J of Canadian AF heading NW past Brookmans Park at around 17.30 at FL300 (above the normal ceiling for Hercs) at 807kph (definitely more than their maximum cruising speed). Has this one been modified, or was it just PlaneFinder being silly?

Made three today in and out of LHR, VN-A144 777 and A320s EC-LYE of Iberia and EC-MEL of Vueling, but missed HZ-AK24 777. No trails at high levels so missed biz including N104QS and N146QS GLEX of NetJets. Saw CS-TRW yesterday westbound but only a scrape, was originally with LOT.

Thanks Graham- I am sure we will meet- in the near future- Sunday is the wifes day- after leaving Southampton on Sunday heading to Blenheim Palace for the day with a minor detour to Oxford Then overnight at Evesham before heading home Monday. Next trip after Popham is Aero-Expo at Sywell which looks good, then Cosford and the Air Britain Flyin at North Weald. Plan B is in place for Saturday- hopefully some pilots will make it before the rain sets in and the static side is usually worth the £6 admission fee. Happy Days Bob Hi Bob,the event is advertised in today's freebie Basingstoke Gazette Extra and they are quoting an entrance fee of £7 for this year however it's only a fiver for me as I'm over 60 and currently feeling it as well. Might bump into you on Saturday, you never know.
