The 1st December sees the launch of a new VR, Skyscanworld, it will be launched on PC, Andriod and IOS initially this will be free then £27 a year, however If you feed their system then it's free to use. Another version of Freedar has also appeared, namely military radar
Reading between the lines skyscanworld grew out of a disagreement in the freedar camp, it's promising lots but will wait and see once released.
As to if there is room for another paid VR in the spotting community only time will tell. The current line up of VRs below seems to show its big business and most paid ones seem to be military focused, however only yesterday I saw FR24 showing a Typhoon, I wonder if that's something for the future.
Freedar - free military radar - free FR24 - free Plane finder - free Adsb exchange - free Adsb flight tracker - free Skyscanworld - paid 360 radar - paid Plane plotter - paid
I tend to flick between all of the free ones as each have their merits, my personnel fav though is adsb flight tracker which seems to show lots more light aircraft than others that fly over me in Farnborough.
Any thoughts anyone

Hi Jeff,
So this new one, what will it do that the likes of adsb exchange does not ?
The reason I ask is, when you say £27 per year, I am wondering what you actually get for that, I mean what would the benefit be ?
But I will definitely have a look, but I do like the Freedar & military radar that Graham pointed me towards....
Cheers
Adrian

I guess time will tell, personally I think it will be the same as all the others, but they do seem to be bigging it up a tad
