W/W often has aerobatics over the field - I believe they get specific slots and the circuit is kept free.
As we get into the summer display season you often have a spitfire or mustang pass through lateish on the Sunday afternoon -and their occasional accompanying displays /fly throughs are very spirited

Hi guys - Graham - G-MACH would seem to be based at Old Sarum as indicated , I originally saw her at Fairoaks way back in 1984 !! Dereks - As you commented G-EVIL did indeed have a booked 'slot' , and other traffic was temporarily halted. A camera crew was also in attendance so maybe a piece of film work or advertising will appear in due course !
