Managed to make an Apache today. "OUTLA1" was showing as [43C24B] which used to be ZJ182. However, following a massive re-allocation of their hex codes, this is now confirmed as being used by ZJ186.
I will put up a list in the next few days of the new allocations where known (18 known out of the remaining 28 in service).

Hi Bob
I saw 43C24B at Odiham back in April. Call sign was ‘Machete 2’. Do you think it would have been ZJ186 back then or is it impossible to tell with all the box swapping? I wonder if they are swapped multiple times?
In company was ‘Machete 1’ 43C265 showed ZJ208 at the time which was clearly wrong.
They sure are a pain.
Cheers Pete.

43C265 has been confirmed as being ZJ210, and 43C24B as being ZJ186, but eyeball confirmation for both was only this month (11th at Wattisham and 10th at Biggin respectively).
Yes, they are a pain!!
Cheers

Cheers Bob
I will forget I saw them in April. 😀 They could well have been different airframes then.
Thanks for the reply and if I eyeball any here at Odiham I will let you know.

The good lady and I spent the weekend seeing family on the Sussex coast, weather was cool but mainly clear which enabled me to put a few into the book over the two days. Traffic coming home yesterday was horrendous, I think there was something on at Goodwood plus there was a pageant at Arundel castle.

Bit of a catch-up on the last few days- weather has not been too bad- Fathers day it was a quick trip to the GA area at LPL where G-RVNX Pa28 Cherokee was logged and took me for a 100 for June, there had been four biz jets which were needed in and missed as rw09 was in use. Monday was a nil return- still unpacking boxes and getting my man cave sorted. Tuesday - Was watching the England game and got fed up at half time and glad I did as the weather was nice and two hit the books before dark- EC-MEY 737-4 of Swift Air DUB-EMA and Air Moldova A319 ER-AXM heading west to DUB. Wednesday- saw whilst in work AT6 Texan ZM332 doing a couple of ILS runs to Rw27 at LPL (last one), and when I got home Hawker 400XP SP-OOK was seen inbound Rw 27 at LPL. Then the rain returned. Its rare that a Europe deployed TDY tanker comes over the UK to do its work !!!
"NACHO71" KC-46A 18-46051 of 133ARS/New Hampshire ANG coming from Ramstein to route down TR1 via MAM > VLN > LND to the refuelling area just to the West of there - refuelled "BOLAR11-16" (F-15Es from Lakenheath)
Coming back, it cut the corner and routed over Bath..

Evening Guys,
Wasn’t expecting much today but as the sun sets it’s been quite a good one…
24th June.
07.53 this morning a P-8 tracked past heading South. (AE685A). Anyone got an ID? G-ELVN RV-7 (o/f 10.55). PH-CPI Phenom 100 (to FAB 11.16) (it departed, returned and departed again). G-FBFB PA-32R (o/f 11.55). G-EIMS Bell 505 JR X (o/f 12.52). D-CVMS PC-24 (departed FAB 15.11). C-GXNW Gulf 150 (to FAB 15.12). G-NJAD Falcon 900EX (to FAB 16.47). 522 C-130H Israeli AF (OTT 20.30, heading South)
Made a quick dash to LHR to catch; 5A-ONE A340-2 Govt of Libya.
On the way up to LHR, going in the opposite direction at 13.30 on the M3 (Southbound) was a chopper on the back of a low loader which looked like a Lynx. If anyone has an ID I’d appreciate it.
So not a bad day for me.
Keep safe guys.

Evening Guys,
Well another pretty good day today.
G-NOCM Ce525A (arr FAB 09.23) ZM336 Phenom 100 RAF (o/f 12.23) Been watching this forever over East Anglia so was delighted to see it transit my airspace. 9H-KOM Ce525 M2 (OTT from Hurn heading NE 13.08). D-CHRF Ce525B (OTT going West 15.05). 9K-CBF A320N Jazeera (ex LHR 15.35 going home). EC-NCG A320N Vueling (OTT 18.04 heading SW). 9H-QCU B737 Ryanair (OTT ex STN 18.58).
I’d seen (on radar) a couple going into LHR, so I couldn’t resist an evening dash…
Heathrow. HL8382 A350 Asiana. B-207U B787-9 Hainan.
That’s it for me.

Just to finish off June.
Noticed that there were a couple on the deck at FAB that were needed, so scooted over there for a quick circuit.
27th.
FAB. N231QS Challenger 650 Netjets. N815CE Gulfstream 280. N651FX Gulf 650.
28th was a complete blank….

30th From home. N542LA B767 Latam Cargo (OTT 18.29, thanks to the trail).
So with that, I closed my June 2021’s log having recorded 125 new frames and 47 scrapes…

A horrible end to the month with a computer failure, and then corruption of my back up spotting log file causing a major panic. So, with a new computer, I've managed to get my logs back up to a point earlier in June, and with cutting and pasting from the invaluable daily updates posted here I'm back up to date with only a couple of choppers logged that I can't recover. All's well that ends well then, and lessons learned (?), phew!
