Weather changed yesterday up here in Cheshire- cloudy bit of rain and the odd clap of thunder but never the less with LPL being on Rw 27 three hit the books:- 9H-QAZ- 737-8 Malta Air inbound LPL G-RMAA- Airbus H135 low level route in direction of LPL HA-LXG- A321 Wizz Air inbound LPL So not a bad result albeit the weather had changed, but at least I slept better not having to lie on top of the bed like an Adonis every night. Happy Days Bob

Thunder, Lightning and loads of Aqua on Wednesday could not dampen the spirits and the following two hit the books during the odd afternoon dry spell:- LY-VUT- A320 Heston @ LPL G-STBP- 777 BAW northbound "At Last" Those two took me to 500 for the year so far. Thursday is overcast again, but at least currently its not raining and on a brighter note my Everton Season Ticket has arrived. So the world is a better place. Happy Days Bob

Some rough weather from my son's 44th floor balcony, but fast moving clouds which broke reguarly allowing a nice few additions. Back home now so will be lucky to catch the odd bit of GA under the cloud base.

Thought I was heading for blank day number 2 but a nice bit of blue late afternoon enable one to trouble the scorer:
9H-VUF B737-8MAX Malta Air (BGY-DUB)
Made a total of 111 frames/scrapes for July giving me a running total of 677 for 2021.

July ended up being my best month of 2021 so far with 154 cops hitting the books mainly due to my one road trip to Kemble at the beginning of the month with 70 + - the total included Mil=10, Airlines =63, Biz= 21, Light Aviation = 53, Balloon = 1 and Bix-Prop = 6. Don't think I'll get anywhere near that number in August as nothing is planned albeit the 504 cops so far has already overtaken my total of 490 up to the end of August last year- so well up a month plus ahead already. Is August going to be lucky? I just heard a helicopter overhead, turned on ads-b to identify it, and saw that TC-LCA B737M was in the area. Walked out of the back door, looked up, and there in the smallest gap in the clouds was the Max, not even trailing! Oh, and I didn’t need the chopper.

Quite a good YTD for me so far, 569 frames and 88 scrapes. Nice to get out and about again, have called by a few fields during the working day including Kingston Deverill, Kemble, Lasham, Staverton, Bristol and Oxford. Also put a nice number of GA in the book from our three day stay in Worthing in June.
BIZ - 140 BIZPROPS - 18 JETS - 183 PROPS - 14 RUSSIAN - 2 MILITARY - 18 GA - 163 HELIS - 31

Nothing in the books for the end of the month, lets see what August has in store for us..
Finished the month with 105 new entries, a bit down on last year with 127, although my overall figures are up with 638 to 510 at this point
