As we start this new month, keep your fingers crossed that by the end of it we really will start to see a return to normality, or someway towards it….
Stay safe folks.

Bill/Dave, Likewise up here in Cheshire overcast and raining most of the day, so after taking the wife into work it was a quick visit to the LPL GA with a negative result (should have saved the fuel) then it was wall paper stripping. But at least you both got a couple which is better than nothing at all- looking out of my den window, much of the same weather wise. Happy Days Bob

Oh to live in a country that has proper seasons,it gets quite depressing when you see things on FR24 etc,etc and then as it gets close,it's clouded over again, never mind I did manage to get two in the book yesterday:
N633EX Cessna 208B Caravan (Bournemouth-Cambridge) OE-IOT A320 (KEF-PGF,ex Interjet and destined for Pakistan International)
This crap weather has given me the chance to get my logs upto date however and pleased to find out that during June I potted 172 frames/scrapes giving me a running total for 2021 as 556.

Managed two today:
"RECON22" ZZ527 Wildcat, rather low over the front of the house, in company with "RECON21" ZZ526 at a more respectable height. Both heading back to Yeovilton "RCH825" 86-0018 C-5M trailing through a small patch of blue, just been overtaken by a well trailing "ABW" B748. Three to go, two of which are in rework and the other is an SCM (68-0216) - Lord knows if that will come over, but you never know.

Up early this morning (Saturday) and it's gloomy outside but Friday early doors before heading to work brought one more to the total in the form of Lufthansa A320N D-AIJB heading south out of DUB. Planning my trip for tomorrow- Edgwicks e-mailed me back saying "No problems- come in- have a coffee and we will give you a guided tour"- NOT!!!! As expected no reply- but we all expected that anyway, so it's a peer through the fence job. Just a request re Birmingham, I have not been for a few years- usually viewing from the top of the Elmdon side car park, which you could get a bit of free time to get what's over by cargo- I know you cannot drive up to the top level anymore- but what is the latest re a quick recky then out, as it will more than likely be my last stop tomorrow whilst heading home. Thanks Bob

Just got in from my road trip this morning- where I visited Tewksbury, Staverton, Kemble, Oaksey Park, Kidlington, Enstone and Wellesbourne as well as a quick trip to Stafford Camp to get the Harrier gate guardian. Phil Ref the helicopters at Tewksbury- only three were seen- wagons everywhere- just wondering if the owners had moved them into one of the warehouses -but a bit of a wasted trip although I did see a Virgin Balloon in between Evesham and Tewksbury @ 07:25. Just need to find out the reg. Happy Days Bob

After my road trip on Sunday 400 plus miles- I had Monday and Tuesday off as we were having facia's fitted around our bungalow- the lad who was doing them turned up reasonably on time- and he was an Evertonian so we were bound to get on - so the obligatory cup of tea was made before he started- then he knocked on the back door to let me know that I had a wasps nest at the back of the house- so it was then I had to sort someone out to get rid of the suckers- anyway- a local lad was contacted and he said he would be coming on Tuesday- the lad then carried on with the three sides he could get on with. Back to planes- Monday as well as the wasps it was raining but Tuesday it improved- the wasp man turned up and also FOUR hit the books:- N23983- 787-9 United i/b LHR 9H-QDK- 737-8 Malta Air i/b LPL EI-HEZ- 737-8200 Ryanair DUB-STN C-GJDR- Global westbound Today Wednesday it was back to work, so whilst having my breakfast I managed a hat-trick of cops:- G-TUKO- 737-8 Tui southbound OO-SFC- A330 Sabena southbound EI-HGO- 737-8200 Ryanair southbound Got home after work and it was reasonable but quite cloudy so I managed to cut the grass. But so far nothing else to add. Happy Days Bob UPDATE:- 18:00 CL350 N752QS westbound short trail looks inbound DUB UPDATE 2:- then after my tea N577FX CL350 seen heading south.
