Hi Guys,
I am new to the forum so thanks for having me. As well as having an active interest in all things aviation I run a business in South Yorkshire where we take retired planes and turn them into mainly garden rooms, glamping pods and bars - saving them from being scrapped.
Thought you guys might be interested in a few of our projects and which planes (many of which you have probably spotted at some point) have ended up being turned into the things I make.
We have numerous pilots and aeroclub members who visit us to use our on site 737 800 sim (guys based at Sandtoft and Netherthorpe mainly) so we live and breathe aviation at our facility. Would be great to see some of you up here one day-I might be bias but it's a great place if you like planes.

Hi Skypodssy,
Your set up sounds really interesting. We have quite a few members based in the North and I dare say a few of us Southern based boys might make it up there too, what sort of stuff are you working on?
Good to have you onboard and look forward to hearing more.
Bill

Hi Bill, thanks for taking the time to post. I have just finished a glamping pod made from an Airbus A320-200 (LY-SPD) and a garden room that was made from A319-100 (F-GPMA) and a bar from Swiss Air (HB-IPV). Be cool to know if any member on here had spotted any of these planes when they were in service. I will try and post some pictures at some point of what I make. We also have the entire front end and 16 seats of former Jet 2 737-300 (G-CELG) that we use for cabin crew training and are turning into a fixed base simulator and a recreation airport. It's a fun place to work
