After two blank days due weather- I had seen on the local website that there was a needed biz jet a Challenger 850 was parked up on Stand 41, so up at 06:55 to my op in Runcorn which overlooks the airport and saw parked up on same 9H-DOM. Then I had a quick drive to the general aviation area at Speke as two P68's from Chester were in for the day as Hawarden was closed. One was needed OY-VPS and the other not needed was OY-VNS also seen but not needed was C172 G-BGMP and G-TAJB. Then it was home by 07:45 and at 08:15 seen landing Rw27 was Cessna 680 OO-KIN and followed at about 10:20 was needed Hawker 800 M-ARIE from Guernsey. Good job I got out early to see the Challenger as it left at 08:30. The reason for not going to see the latter near the fuel farms, was to avoid the ANPR guys who park up at the bottom of the duel carriageway which leads down to the airport roundabout and also could not be bothered going into the short stay car park. Anyway good start to the day. There were also a couple of German Phenoms in and around where the 850 was D-CKJE and D-CMXM neither needed and both due to leave this morning. Happy Days Bob

The drop off car park near the fuel farms is handy for aircraft out of sight I think it is a 30 or 40 minute free parking before you have to pay- which gives you plenty of time to see whats there. Fortunately I was able to see the Challenger from Runcorn- hence my comments re the ANPR. Happy Days Bob
