Aaahh yes, August, the kids are on school holidays, the weather "should" be good and we would usually be looking forward to a Greek trip in September. But, the weather this morning is grim, low cloud, cool and damp and nothing booked for a holiday and not likely to be either.
And we all thought that 2021 just HAD to be better than 2020...

Ist day of August was like the final day of July, mostly cloudy with the odd bit of blue which enable one to be logged, not that exciting but it got me off the mark:

Office yesterday and with LHR on 09's meant that the Northolt inbounds come over the office, of all the in bounds two went into the book:-
CS-LTL Citation D-CSCE EMB505
Two Puma's flew north of the field and XW231 was needed by me, then doing the London Heli lanes was G-JSAW R-66 which also went in the book.

Thursday I left home at silly o’clock, passed through the Dartford Tunnel before charging applies, and arrived at Mildenhall in time to hear, but not see, the WC135 depart.
Eventually I found that the 15 Aviano F16s could be seen by the 2 RAF Voyagers by viewing from Folly Road. 11 made.
A quick breakfast stop at the Golden Arch then set off at 7.30 heading back towards Stansted, where I just made Lauda A320 9H-LOT, Atlantic ATR G-CLXT, Fedex B757 N915FD and a paint job on Embraer G-SAJD.
I then got a message to say grandchildren would be coming to see me at lunchtime, so back in the car and home, where I caught SX-NIG A320 into Heathrow and EA50 2-JSEG and Gulf 4 N522VR both into Biggin Hill.
A long day, but worthwhile.
