Not that I'm aware of Dave, I use ADS-B Exchange and I've never seen or found a replay option

On the subject of ads-b, my normal view has changed, with height and ascending / descending added to the labels. I don’t think I changed any settings deliberately. Any clues how to revert to reg, type and flight number only?

Hi
If you go in to settings and then find fallout properties, you can set the information that you want to see.
Hope that helps.

Morning Ray
Could you tell us where you find "fallout properties" in the settings please?

Hi
Sorry that was a mistype, it should be fallout properties. On my version of ADSB, which I use on an IPad, it is the first setting within the Track Callout section. Hope that helps.

hi, thanks Jeff, just had a quick look and it goes back to at least July 2020, with regard to the labels it might be new, as on my lap top which i use mostly it has reg, type, ?number, height with up/down marker, and call sign... which is new i think?. I just put my desk top on and ADS-B on that just had 3 reg, call sign, and type, but when i refreshed it it went to the 5,? A thought do you have the coloured height bar/coloured aircraft enabled? and i've just been playing with the white side boxes L, O, K, M, that was fun...
stay safe, regards, dave...

Hi Dave
I have the coloured height bar enabled. Along the top I have U H and T enabled, down the right hand side I have M I R F enabled. This appears to show everything, it's just the aircraft labels I need to clear up a bit as they're showing too much, or at least, too much than I want them to show. They're currently showing REG, TYPE, SPEED, HEIGHT and CALL SIGN but I can't find any way to edit them.

Also Graham its the same version on my mobile as on my lap top, perhaps its the bog standard one...

hi Graham, well with it being cloudy, i'm bored so i've been pressing buttons, on the white panel at the side that shows a list of a/c in range, near the top if you click on Map Help, it shows the map and info on whats on it, this is part of it-
Search Box: tar1090 has a universal search box that will find ICAO number, registration number, and aircraft type.
Filters: Click on the plus (+) sign to the right of the word filters to to expand the filters box, this allows you to filter by such things as altitude range, callsign, squawk, type, or type description.
thats the idea, only i have not got a + sign to the right of the word filters!!! have fun...
stay safe, regards, dave...

Thanks dave, I think we must be looking a different screens as I still can't find a way to alter the aircraft labels. I tried signing up to their forum but even that proved impossible, no matter what I entered into the username and password boxes, it came back with " unrequired data" or something similar so I gave up after 6 or 7 attempts. Not overly user friendly I have to say.

hi Graham, i think it must be my fault not explaining myself, on the side where all he lettered boxes are, have you got a white panel with a list of a/c in range, if so near the top there's FAQ and Map Help, clicking on Map Help shows a list of things you can change. If you have not got the panel, have you a blue box with a white arrow, press that and you get the panel up... sorry if you've tried that, but that's what i did to get to the list.
hope it helps, stay safe, regards, dave...

Thanks again Dave, yes, I have the panel. All that happens when I click on the "L" for labels is that the labels disappear, there just doesn't seem to be a function whereby you can adjust what info is shown in the labels. With five values showing in the labels, if you're looking at an area of high density flights, they just all merge in together and you need to go into a higher resolution to see what you're looking at.

The content of the labels is fixed - unfortunately.
You can click on the "O" button to cycle the number of lines showing..... - Basic - one line - shows callsign - 1st click - adds 2nd line above showing speed and altitude and whether ascending/descending - 2nd click - adds 3rd line above those two showing registration/serial and ICAO type.
- 3rd click - back to Basic.
Personally, I think that the reg/type should be on the 2nd line (1st click) and the speed/altitude should be on the 3rd (2nd click). However, I don't control the updates.
For my own usage - which admittedly is different to most of the rest of the members - I only use the Basic (one line) label and hover over the aircraft icon for more information. Alternatively, I can click on the aircraft icon to bring up a panel on the LH side - useful if I want to look at the aircraft (read hex code) movement history.
