Thanks yeah- it’s been in and out a few days- it’s just whether or not I can catch it without antagonising the family… some of the helis overfly the cottage- CKYP doesn’t seem to have yet Cheers Phil

Phil,
A quick question how easy is it to see all of the Stored at EGSH? I have trip to GT Yarmouth to do and well thought I'd stop at UN/UL and maybe SH on my way.
Stew.

Hi Stew
It’s very easy to see most of the stored aircraft. The new road runs across the north of the airport (between the airport and the museum). Off this there is a roundabout leading to an access road - you can easily park here and most of the airliners can be seen. The ES- Embraers are right in front of you. Most of the 146s and the Embraers can be seen from here.
If you walk down the track by the side of the main road you’ll see 4 more Embraers parked nose to tail (including TF-GOE) as well as 146 P4-GIU.
A few of the aircraft (4 x BA Embraers, A9C-BDF and the KLM 737) were over by the hangars so needed to be seen from the airport. For these I parked in Buck Courtney Crescent and Gambling Close in the airfield (double yellow but I was always very quick and nobody bothered)- be careful because elsewhere within the airport are double reds with £100 fine for stopping. But from this point you could see across to the hangars, plus the G.A aircraft and the oil support helis are parked right in front of you.

url=https://postimg.cc/6yQTPX8t] [/url] pics 1 and 2 show the place to view the stored airliners. Park where the pin is located! Walk down the park/track which you can see in Pic 2 leaving the picture to the right. You only have to walk for 3-4 mins up a slight hill and you’ll be able to see all the stored airliners here.
Pic 3 shows Buck Courtney Crescent and Gambling Close within the airfield. Again- careful as it is double yellow (or double red in other areas) but I visited everyday for a quick stop and had no issues. hope this helps cheers Phil
