Evening Guys,
Well the last couple of days have been pretty good for me, in fact in all honesty, the whole of September has been pretty good, and I’d even go so far as predicting that it will probably be my best month so far this year. So today’s sightings went like this.
N650EB Gulfstream 650ER (OTT 07.02). N827DD CL350 (OTT 10.05). N127KH Falcon 2000EX (OTT 10.36). N82MF Falcon 900 (OTT 12.14). EI-KGD A321N Air Astana (ex LHR 12.48). SP-CIT Ce525 (to FAB). G-EXPO PA-46 (o/f 16.42). N701DB Gulfstream 4 (OTT 17.10). SP-ZEN CL350 (o/f 1752 to STN). G-TAJB EC-145 (o/f 18.07). T7-SLA CL850 (o/f 18.20 towards STN/LTN). N711SW Global 7500 (OTT 18.25).
8 of the above were scrapes… So, having mentioned my stat’s I better add that I need just 19 more frames to achieve that milestone.
All the best.
Bill

The company I worked for was bought out in March by an Italian based firm based in Lucca, near Pisa, Just been told that the Italians have invited myself and a few colleagues to visit their HQ in Lucca in mid October. Looking at the area on PlanePlotter, it seems well served by the VRs and the biz jet traffic seems phenomenal, possibly because of its relatively close location to the Cote d'Azur in neighbouring France where all the rich boys play. Fingers crossed for few in the book next month

Has been overcast up here in Cheshire the past two days so Thursday and Friday has ended up being aboring 0-0 result- but Friday has brought out the panic buyers for petrol with queues everywhere. Unbelievable. Walking down the chocolate aisle in Morrisons before with my beloved and quipped "Apparently the Celebrations will be in short supply at Christmas and this lady on hearing me put ten in her trolley" Lol The country has gone mad. We have four garages in and around Devizes Bob, I desperately needed fuel for a work trip on Tuesday so nipped out at 9am today to try my luck. Two had no fuel, one had fuel but a substantial queue on either side of the road waiting their turn and the fourth, luckily had fuel with just a five minute wait to get on to a pump. Whilst there. an old boy of at least 85 pulled up adjacent to me in his Honda Jazz and managed to squeeze in £2.86 worth of unleaded to fill his tank. I suspect a full tank minus £2.86 worth would last him three months anyway but he just had to squeeze in an extra two litres.

Doesn't help when the Transport Secretary on Sky this morning say's people are getting more electric cars especially during the fuel shortage -what an idiot. The Media are the main problems with the current panic buying- they are loving it- they have gone off covid to harp on re the shortage of lorry drivers, then food- no turkeys at Xmas, now fuel if they hadn't mentioned it life would have gone on as normal. There was a photo of a lad on twitter yesterday filling half a dozen green fuel cans up- ffs couldn't the lad or girl in the petrol station switch the pump off. Also putting a couple of quid in your tank -ridiculous. Happy Days Bob

Indeed Bob, there was a bloke filling 5 litre fuel cans in town yesterday at the garage where I eventually managed to find some fuel. He filled up three I think. It was in clear view of the kiosk but they let him carry on. He might have been a regular I suppose and he "might" have had a gardening business and needed the juice for mowers, strimmers, hedgecutters, etc. But the old boy who put £2.86 worth in his car took the biscuit.
Some prat on our local news the other evening was going on about "Christmas being cancelled" due to every shortage known to mankind. FFS, where do they find these people?

I lay a lot of the blame on the BBC,they were against Brexit from the very start and now if they think they can link any issue to Brexit, they will keep going on about it and a lot of the general public will follow like sheep using the modern attitudes of "me,me,me".

Was up at the firm's HQ in Malvern all day yesterday, poured with rain all the way up there, all day, then all evening when we arrived at the hotel where we stayed over. Woke up this morning to clear blue skies which followed me all the way home. Nothing in the book though.
