A short drone flight across this once bustling American Air Force base. I remember attending a few shows here, from the early seventies until its closure in the early nineties. At the first show I went to in 1971 I made about 70 F-111's, those were the days

Interesting, I spend many hours on the approach to Heyford in the seventies and eighties. I don't like drone flights just spying on peoples private houses and gardens though.

I don't either Chris, it's an invasion of privacy and shouldn't be allowed although I don't see how it can be stopped really. But there are some cracking drone videos on Youtube for various disused airfields.
