2014 for me, when I was flown there in Ce150 G-ATEF. We went Blackbushe - Cranfield - Turweston - Wellesbourne - Kemble, then back to Blackbushe.

My one & only visit to this airfield was sometime last century LOL!

Have visited on numerous occasions over the years the last time in July this year- a very friendly airfield and if you make a request at the tower if you manage to climb the steps- access is usually granted air side. Saturday morning was the best time to visit Heli-Air when permission to enter the hangar would be given- other days were a no-no. However despite it being friendly it is quite easy to give it a miss when travelling home- mainly due to not many changes in residents, made one the last visit- but that was just a quick stop to ring my beloved up- to let her know that I was Homeward Bound.
