It was a fictional airline devised for one of the Dirty Harry films, I believe it was owned by World Airways and was painted up in this scheme, which wasn't much different from their scheme anyway for the film. The 374 on the nose wheel door would indicate that it was N374WA possibly? World Airways B707 by Graham Brown, on Flickr

Love the Dirty Harry movies and that 707 scene, is one of the bestā¦
All except for the George Kennedy (with the cigar at his lips) scene at the controls of the B707 scene in the 1970 movie, Airport. Stuck, well and truly in the snow, and facing an almost catastrophic scenario, āJoe Patroniā has all 4 engines at full throttle before she finally rolls out of the snow with under carriage still attachedā¦ Great movie and most of the airport scenes were shot at my beloved Minneapolis-St.Paul International Airport - home of Northwest Orient Airlinesā¦
Sadly, the Boeing 707-349C, N324F, (c/n 19354) ended its days in a fatal accident on approach to SĆ£o Paulo on March 21st 1989. All three crew members were killed along with 22 persons on the ground. Iāve seen this aircraft in no less than 6 different disguises, N324F, EI-ASO, VH-EBZ, G-BAWP, 9J-AEC and finally with S2-ACGā¦. Never saw it as PT-TCS.
Both Great moviesā¦.
Bill
EDIT: I saw N374WA in three disguises; N374WA with World, HZ-ACF in 1975 and D2-TOG in 1991 at Manstonā¦

Indeed Bill, great novel and an even better film from an era when disaster movies were all the rage. I saw N374WA wearing that reg and as the HZ but not the D2
