we do an airside refresher course every other year and they tend to highlight the new changes to driving airside, when I did my course last year the MAX came up in Operational alerts, it seems the scimitar bit on the wing has been getting hit by ground vehicles at many airports around the world since the MAX entered service.

Having worked around aircraft for many years, one of the many rules when driving close to aircraft and all reversing was to have a person outside watching in case you got too close.

Graham GTF4J2M You right about having a banks man for reversing but I'm thinking he was pulling away, that cone should be under the extreme edge of the wingtip, as from the drivers position you can't see the wing tip at all and the driver would be using the cone as a guide.
