Reading that "Royal Navy loses database" I was very surprised that it wasn't headline news elsewhere but all becomes clear when reading the link!

Great list Jeff, I had a quick flick through the A's", there's HMS Anson which sank in Mounts Bay, several of her cannon have been salvaged, one is on display outside the museum in Helston and at least two are situated on the quayside at Porthleven. Helston Museum DSCF0007 by Graham Brown, on Flickr Porthleven DSC_0147 by Graham Brown, on Flickr From my own notes I have the Anson was wrecked on the Loe Bar during a violent storm, and despite her only being a couple of hundred yards offshore, most of her crew perished by drowning. The incident was witnessed from the shore by a local man Henry Trengrouse and upon seeing the loss of life involved, developed the Breeches Buoy.
