I completely agree Jeff. His programmes are always thoroughly researched, well planned with a logical sequence, articulate and informative.

hi, thanks for the video, i've just googled it and Scramble 19/3/20, says This CASA is a composite aircraft. The main fuselage is former Ejército del Aire (EdA, Spanish Air Force) serial B.2I-103 (c/n 053), while the tail section comes from B.2I-27. It was one of the aircraft flown as a He111 during the filming of the 1968 "Battle of Britain" movie. After the filming ended, the aircraft was stored at Tablada air base near Seville (Spain). Historic details on this aircraft are that it was originally built in 1942 as a Heinkel He111-H16. During the 1950s, the aircraft was configured and updated to a CASA 2.111B.
The 111 in the RAF museum is werke number is 701152, the note from Scramble gives c/n 053 for the CASA one, so now the question is as the ex duxford 111 is one of the original 6 He.111-H.16's given to the Spanish AF, is the Scramble's c/n is wrong? or is the answer to my question "triggers brush"...
stay safe, regards, dave...
