According to FR24 HL8068 due tomorrow Sunday at 13.45 from Seoul , an unusual visitor to Gatwick (if it arrives), I believe it has been a Farnborough visitor in the past.

A footnote to the above Gatwick arrival and a story of the woes of spotting. On that sunny Sunday when HL8068 arrived , for a change LGW had planes coming in on runway 08 which was the first time in ages. This meant for me any planes coming in from the east normally come straight over my mid-sussex house at about 7000 feet. Unfortunately for me when HL8068 landed (on FR24 playback straight over my house) I was sitting on a Jubilee line underground train heading towards Wembley on my way to watch my team Chelsea play Liverpool, I will not add to my woes and mention the result. At Gatwick HL8068 was parked on a stand close up to the terminal which is not viewable from outside the airport, so a visit to look at it would have been a waste of time. This morning HL8068 departed LGW for Le Bourget and after a Monday when the runway arrivals had changed back to the usual 26 , Gatwick changed to 08, this means any departures heading south normally come up the side of my house at about 9000 feet, which would have been good for me but light rain and misty conditions gave me no chance, heard but not seen.
To add to my woes yesterday when planes were landing on 26 which means for me most planes arriving from the West come over my house at about 8000 feet, at about 21.00, a Gulf 450 N59AP from Charlotte arrived. Light rain meant I could not see it, again heard but not seen, this has also parked at an unviewable stand at LGW.
It would be nice to know if my earlier heads up post did provide some joy for a member of the group.
