The early days after I started full time spotting again after a lay off of around 30 years during which time I did a few Stateside and European trips and attended most of the big shows in the UK, but didn't spot on a daily basis. Those days in 2013 and 2014 produced some huge home logs, I would take the mutts out for a long walk if the weather was good, I'd have my printed off checklist of the BA/Easy/Ryan/Jet2/SAS, etc I needed and armed with PlaneFinder on my mobile, I'd check the trails as they went over as well as the lower level stuff in and out of BRS and CWL and the GA buzzing around from Old Sarum, Popham, Thruxton, Clench and Yatesbury.
