Thanks Bob a few newbies in that list since my last visit. The Comet used to be on the gate at Lyneham, poor old girl was in a dreadful state but she's even worse now, just a cockpit, nose wheel and a few feet of fuselage, quite an ignominious end for a beautifu machine.

Also in in the hangar was Jindivik A92-466- excellent collection though well worth a visit if you have not been. An excellent choice for a Plan B Bob Also in the workshop between the hangars Museum/Vintage Aircraft side was Sedberg 9G-ABD/BGA1355 spoke to the owner who was working on same. Happy Days Bob

Nice to see the Sycamore looking a lot better than she was Bob, she was sat outside in the rear yard for ages in a right old state.

hi graham I believe the hunter outside was a bit of a mess at one time and look at that now ,the museum is a testimony to the hard work and lack of funds can achieve . regards bob

hi, regards the Comet, I was speaking to the lady in the reception, and she was saying it was in a terrible state when they first got her, no chance of moving it so they decided to save the c/p, the rest less any good bit's was scrapped, and the money received paid for the move of the c/p and a help with the eventual restoration. A great collection, and friendly staff...
