hi, a "quick" pass on the train on wed. 20th April, and there was 5 a/c near the 2 russian fighters, another forum as suggested they could have been 5N-BXQ, 2-0TWO, 5N-JMA, P4-JET, and D-COLD, just wondering if any of our northern brethren could give a more positive reply, if they have visited recently...
regards, dave...

Dave , I too am not a LAAS member but the 'basic site ' or forum is freely available to all . Now days it is mainly lists of what is due at various locations but there are some useful posts in there . I gave it up after many years as it contained many pages each month , of individual's trips overseas which is of just about no interest to me . But each to his/her own ! Chris

hi chrisj, i will give it a go then, thanks, and on another forum its saying the covers on the fence at Hawarden is not to prevent spotters seeing the a/c, its one owner who does not want to be photographed nor his aircraft?

Dave, I went two weeks ago- and have put a post on same- regarding taking photo's of the aircraft- they are grouped close together and in my opinion you would not get a half decent photograph's. At least one of the 125's I saw have now left. Don't take many photo's myself, in fact very rarely. Reference Chester there is a lad who does tours of the hangars for a donation- might be well worth booking one- just need to go on the Hawarden website. Happy Days Bob

Dave, It's on Google Groups under LAASi. Regarding membership of same- I have been a member for a long long time currently on the Gold Membership which although being £53 a year gives me a Biz Jet Book, BICR Quick Reference an d Foreign Aircraft based in the UK book each year, plus of course the magazine- which I enjoy- lots of useful info in same- and love the trips reports. Happy Days Bob

hi Bob, thanks for your reply, i was a member for years back in the 70's, but with not traveling overseas those reports were not read, and being younger then having to wait 1-2 months for a visit or show report, the mags biz and turbo are free on their webpage, so i decided to cancel...
regards, dave...
