As I am sitting in the middle of a monsoon, I am not expecting to see snything further today, so here goes. G-LMTE ATR 72 into LCY ZZ375 Wildcat ‘Wildcat02’ heading up the Thames, but missed ZZ414 Wildcat 01 that preceded it. LV-GIF A330 into LHR Has Aerolineas Argentinas restarted services to LHR or was this a one-off flight? I remember seeing their B747s fly into LHR in pre Falklands war days.

White Rabbits:- Well the last day of May started off with lots of rain but in the afternoon it stopped and the wind blew in the odd bit of blue which allowed me to add 5 more to the months total:- EJ-REVA- Hawker 800XP Northbound OH-LWA- A350 Finnair westbound ops for Eurowings (Discovery) OK-KIN- C525B CJ3 west to DUB 9H-MLQ- A320 Avion Express south out of Humberside 166473- C130J USN southbound So May ended with 148 cops and a yearly total of 630 which is 394 up on last year only 5 days without seeing anything. Not bad also as I only went to LPL x1, Man AVP x 1 and Hooton Park. Also not bad total due to hospital visits etc. Also football ended up great with the blues and Royals being safe, Vale getting promoted and the wheels coming off the LFC quadruple. Hala Madrid!!!! As I type this it is blue to my left and dark clouds to my right- so lets hope June is a good month- Ragley on Saturday and a trip out a couple of weeks later to replace Aero Expo. RIAT in July, and Popham in September. Not a lot but the petrol price at the moment makes you pull the old belt buckle in- as a day trip cost has doubled. Glad we cancelled one and moved one of our holidays this year- as the airline business is in turmoil at the moment-my brother-in-law was due to go to Cyprus today with Tui- what happens- Monday night at 18:30 e-mail from Tui telling him it has been cancelled. Unbelievable. The excuse no staff to load planes and no security staff- all disposed of due covid, and farmers also saying have not got staff to pick crops- all the foreign workers no longer coming over due to brexit. Anyway peeps have a great day- hope June ends up being a bumper month. Happy Days Bob

Well, May bowed out yesterday with five frames. I haven't checked the stats yet but I'm pretty sure it's been a good month, both weather-wise and aircraft wise.

Have just pulled my May stats from PlaneBase and it was indeed a very good month with something hitting the logs on 28/31 days.
