It would appear that the event in June is now cancelled. Reported in Flyer/on Flyer Forum pages.

Looks like Whitebear is right just found this on the web from the Flyer:- The combined AeroExpo/RotorTech General Aviation exhibition planned for 16-18 June at Cotswold Airport has been cancelled for this year.
Organiser John Brennan said in a statement to exhibitors, “I am sorry to have to tell you, that today, we have taken the difficult decision to cancel AeroExpo/RotorTech UK for this year.
“The indoor exhibition (Hangar) space we were allocated is now not available due to issues outside of our control and we are not willing to run an event which fails to meet the needs of exhibitors and visitors.
“This is very disappointing. We have put in a great deal of time & effort in establishing the groundwork for a Show that accommodates both the fly-in numbers and visitors necessary for the successful general aviation event the industry deserves.
“We have support from all the main GA Associations and a great deal of pre-event interest has been shown from fly-in pilots and visitors. However, without suitable indoor exhibition facilities we cannot run our Event successfully.
“The hangar availability issue will be resolved, and we will be in a position to bring the community together in 2023.”
Will have to find somewhere else to go hope they refund our monies.Happy Days Bob

Believe there is no connection twixt the shortened ops times and cancellation of the event. Shame there is coincidental timing of two majorly negative occurrences.

Still a poor show by Aero Expo and the Airfield Operators imo- at such short notice. Many people will have booked accommodation for the event, thankfully not myself, albeit I am still out of pocket with my ticket costs. Will have to try and find somewhere else to go now, albeit not on that weekend. But thanks Gtw for bringing it to our notice a tad quicker than the Aero Expo people have. Happy Days Bob

The event has reluctantly been cancelled. Regards John Confirmed Bob

As you say...all in all a real shame and an embarrassment to all the organisers.

Yes a real shame as I was quite looking forward to this one at my local.
I suspect many of the exhibitors will be a bit cheesed off too as doubtless many of those will have booked local hotel accommodation.
I'm curious to know what is so important that the airport operator found it necessary to cancel the hangar so late in the day! Personally I think the airport perhaps ought to find a new scheduler - unless the hangar has become a H&S issue! Cheers Keith

Indeed, a relatively local run for me too Keith, rather disappointing to say the least

Well at least it has been confirmed- saves me a long expensive journey- a proper announcement is being prepared as we speak. Well done to the Bear for spotting it on the Flyer mag. Thanks. Happy Days Bob

I think the hangarage ...or covered exhibition area, shall we say...was not properly resolved by the organisers/ airport etc before committing to the event. I imagine there were other issues as well such as accommodating movements and visiting aircraft parking plus the distraction of the rival events undef the Private Flyer banner. I think there is a PF event this weekend and potentially one up north in a few months.
Whatever.....it will be a combination of factors, for sure.
The localness was a big draw for me, too!!!
All things seem to be a struggle these days.
