Very similar to mine taken from 2/3rds of the way across the bridge. You managed to avoid the cranes!

Yes, and thanks for the advice to go there but I decided to stay on the South Bank rather than go on the bridge. Cranes were a pain. Maybe photoshop can lend a hand, lol.

One participant I photographed from my usual vantage point near Westminster Bridge but not on any of the lists I've seen so far had clearly joined the BoBMF flypast group. I understand it was C-GULL. IMG_3349 by dave tompkins, on Flickr

Well looking at all the various posts on FC and UKAR, I'm pretty sure I've managed to cobble together an accurate list of all the flying participants except for the 3 Apaches. I believe one may have been ZJ206 but the other 2 elude me - any offers gratefully appreciated. I'm happy, for the sake of completeness, to publish the full list that I've gleaned from many sources but a little concerned that I won't know who to credit. Cheers Keith

The general consensus is ZJ209, 210 & 213 for the Apaches.

Thanks Paul The reason I mentioned ZJ206 was because I saw a photo of it taking off from Benson with the other helios unless that was on a practice day - though I'm pretty sure the photo was taken on the actual day? Cheers Keith

Yeah,
ZJ208 was mentioned earlier but was corrected to 210, with 208 staying on the ground. Perhaps ZJ206 was an air spare ?
I too have been trying to compile a list from various sources and seem to have everything covered but still a bit of debate on one of the Pumas !
I was at Waterloo bridge, whilst not in the flypast the Police H145 was G-MPSA (read off by me) and the AS355 photo ship I couldn't read shows up on FR24 playback as G-TVHD.
Regards, Paul.

The Pumas I've seen listed on 2 separate sources are XW214, XW224 and ZJ957 - I'm not too bothered about these though.
I guess the Jurys still out on the Apaches but doubtless will come out in the wash!
A109 GZ100 was also lurking I guess as the military whip.
We were on the east side of Hungerford Bridge - a great viewing point but very busy - it took a good 15 minutes to get off the bridge to our next watering hole! Cheers Keith

Finding that Green Park had very restricted access, I ended up in the centre of Hyde Park Corner and had an absolutely superb view of the flypast which was almost overhead. In addition I saw a large part of the parade that had gone up The Mall as it returned to, presumably, Hyde Park Barracks. So, overall, a great result!

The consensus on the Pumas is XW224, 214 and 212 but some folk are saying 204 rather than 212. ZJ957 is a red herring.
Like you not bothered with these as I do not need any.
Regards, Paul

The best view is always on the bridges looking east and Hungerford is always the best for that as they are almost over the top. I'm not a photographer and if I was, I'd probably go to the Wobbly bridge for the best side shots. Anyhow it was a great flypast - all 3 armed forces at their best!

Foxfire - yep the problem with both Green Park and St James park is that they are surrounded by trees. Unless you do either Hyde Park or Battersea Park you won't a decent shot - dare I say it but BJTV got some cracking shots!!

I forgot to say that my reporter at home in Streatham had a good view of the helicopter part of the display when they passed just east of the house as the aircraft dispersed over London.

At the 2018 RAF 100 flypast I was right in the middle of Green Park where there are no trees and had an excellent view, though the aircraft were obviously a little further away than this time at Hyde Park Corner.

As a Battersea boy, I saw pretty much every London flypast from the 16 Lightnings at Churchills funeral flypast to the present day - yes I skipped a few but have seen the majority - a great way to get a good haul! Over the years I've watched various flypasts from Battersea Park, Victoria Railway Station, Hyde Park, St James Park, Green Park, Trafalgar Square and the Mall. As I said earlier - I'm not a photographer but if you want the best side on shots you need to be on the south bank - if you want them almost overhead then Hungerfotd Bridge,
