I am guessing only 1 Black Eagles T50 will be displaying? Also, I believe they are already in the UK flying from MoD Boscombe Down accompanied with 3 C130's.

There was a lot of fast jet noise over home here yesterday but nothing plotting on any of the VRs. We're only a few minutes' fly time from Boscombe Down so I wonder whether it was the Koreans? RAF Typhoons, Empire Hawks and USAF F-15s are regular OTTs here but they always plot on the VRs.
EDIT - just had a look on FCG and it seems the first three T-50s were roaded into Boscombe Down last Saturday 11th June. The C-130s are due back on the 22nd.

It’s always requested that you don’t publish the display frequency. There’s nothing to hear on it anyway, other than “cleared for take-off and display “ and “cleared to land”

Do they not change app freq for the airshow?

Yes they usually have a swap around of the “normal” frequencies, partly to accommodate the heli routes frequency.

Been over to Pegasus this morning. It is pretty much where it has been in previous years. They are extending the fence line towards the runway today so it will be closer tomorrow. There are toilets by the gate but its a long walk. Just be aware from the Fleet road you can only turn left into Eelmoor and you can only turn left out of the gate on departure. Rob
