A quick stop on the way back from seeing the Raptors at Lakenheath. Only my 4th ever visit here and my first since 2003.
Not a particularly exciting log- all hangars were shut so just logged those outside. I was hoping to see the G-ECA. fleet, but only saw 2 - 1 of which I'd seen before of course!
Earls Colne 04/08/22
G-AZOZ Cessna FRA.150L G-AZVB Bolkow bO.209A Monsun G-BLIT Thorpe T.18 G-BWXJ Slingsby T.67 Firefly G-ECAC Robin R.2120U G-ECAG Robin HR.200/120 G-EHEM MD.900 Explorer G-SHAY PA-28R-201 Arrow G-TXAS Cessna A.150L (taildragger)
111836 AT-6C Harvard (G-TSIX) XX528 Bulldog (G-BZON)
N787JD Cirrus SR.22
Not much to see but still worth a visit as I needed 4 - ECAG, TXAS, N787JD plus G-BZON the Bulldog, which I needed as civil but first saw as XX528 almost 40 years ago - 18/09/82 at Abingdon!

I had to have a look as you do Phil, and I saw XX528 at Abingdon on 11/6/77. Haven't seen her in her civil guise.

My logging in Sep 82 was 2 days before I turned 8 ! It is still in its red and white training scheme and still carries XX528 externally rather than its civil identity.

You certainly started early there ZZ, my Dad took me to some shows when I was very young but I didn't start spotting until I was ten.
