What browser do you use dave? Could you do without McAfee? I run Window 10 and have to say that since I had that, I've never bothered with any external anti-virus as the built in does a great job.
I use Firefox browser and have never had any issues with ADS-B

My version of ads-b was barely working, until someone guided me through downloading a different version which works fine. But can I find that guide to thank him!?!

Dave, how about trying to use ADS-B with a different browser? As said, never had any issues with Firefox. The built in virus protection on Windows 10 ( and presumably 11) is top notch, I used to pay for the pro version of AVG but when I upgraded to Windows 10, a mate who's pretty clued up told me not to bother with any external virus protection, that was about three years ago now and never had an issue.

I think that is maybe what I have now (accidentally) achieved, with a short cut that bypasses Safari.

I use ADS-B Exch. and MS10 with Edge and generally no problems but the past few days I find that plots bunch up at the edge of my view . Looks great with big row of many plots ! To clear I just come out of my session and go right back . Several of the plotting aps have had various problems of late but I think they are back . Chrisj
