According to Planebase there's a B737 there somewhere Dylan, VQ-BTA which only arrived on 18th August. It's a needed frame for me so might have to call by when I'm next working around the area. Also Planebase surprisingly only lists one based PC-12 and that has a light scheme so yours sounds like a visitor.

Morning Graham,VQBTA was right by the crash gate with only COBN being nearer to us than it, I believe it is for that hangar in the little alcove just on the right as you look over the airfield. This is viewing from the side of the airfield where you have to pull in the layby and cross the road. I can't see anything for the PC12 on the daily OXF list, and it's the wrong scheme for N940DM TBM9 so not sure what's happened there!! Hope this helps mate...

Thanks Dylan, I haven't paid a visit to Oxford for longer than I can remember. I always used to park along the side road which went along the eastern side of the field, a turning off the Woodstock Rd if I recall but I could be wrong.

Just checked my logs and my one and only visit to Kidlington was a brief one almost 47 years ago to the day (23/8/75). Most of the loggings are PA28s of the old CSE flight training business with their distinctive orange/white livery. They were also a common sight, along with their twin engine fleet, performing touch and go operations at BHX.
