Tokorozawa Aviation Museum
A day of museums around Tokyo, starting with the Torokazawa museum. The train is easy to get there and it is a short walk from the station, although it was 32 degree and very high humidity. Take the Seibu Shinjuku line from Tokyo towards Hon kawagoe and get off at Koku-Koen stop SS23. You can also get the train to Haijima but get off at SS19 and transfer trains towards Koku-Koen. It’s easy to get the express and change rather than wait for the correct train.
Outside the station is
JA8732 YS11 Air Nippon
Outside the museum
91-1143 C-46
The storage building was shut tight with no windows and the language barrier meant I could not gain access.
Everything in the museum can be seen from outside except the Neiuport and Nakajkma Type 91 just in case it is closed.

J-TECH Nieuport 81E2 replica
(According to the board the Nieuport 81E2 on display here was made by Masao Iwata, a civilian aviator from Hikigunkawa, Saitama Prefecture, when he made a visit flight in 1926. At that time, the aircraft was damaged, so it was donated to the village as it was, and since then it has been preserved at Jikoji Temple in this village for about 70 years. It was reproduced as a replica with reference to the blueprints)

Timing is everything here. Three landed as I got there and were hangered within minutes. ANH decided they wanted a Dauphin out of the back, bringing some tasty treats out too including the H160 to make space, then shoving them back in just as quick.
