I can't remember whether I posted these back in May, Bill, Jeff and I were talking about the Tiger formation team at Popham yesterday and I mentioned that during the summer months, they base themselves at a farm strip near Rushall, about six miles south of home here in Devizes. The guys there expressly asked me NOT to publish the location although you'd have to be exceptionally fortunate to find it anyway. I took half a dozen photos which they were happy to let me do. Nice Photos Graham. I remember some time in the 1990s when the 'Diamond Nine' formation team landed at the Queen's Parade field between Aldershot & Farnborough and was allowed to photograph them there, which I did, even though the aircraft involved were, individualy, quite regular sights at places like Popham. I don't remember what the event was that they were appearing at, maybe there was something happening at nearby Rushmore Arena. A much more regular sight on the Queens parade field at the time would have been the Red Devils BN2 Islander G-ORED.
G-ACGZ is a DH60, and the one marked LF858 is G-BLUZ which is a DH82B Queen Bee, a rare beastie!!

Thanks Phil, it was a rather pleasant surprise to find them there and on such a glorious day too.
