All the ground moves have taken place.
The A330 is on 31/13 ready for filming work. Marquees are being set up along Charlie taxiway, beside the A429.
TF whatever is in Belfast as, I believe, is the MK 747. Unable to verify as thick fog when I passed the airfield just now!

Such a shame that after all these years, the MK 747 is up for the chop. I started spotting again in 2013 and I don't recall her never being there.

Graham...she was a total mess. Condemned 3 or 4 years ago and literally falling to pieces. Also she blocked the 31/13 runway and Charlie taxiways for far too long.
Sad to see any aircraft fall into this condition but she was a wreck and long overdue the chop.
Expect it cost the airport quite some dosh in parking fees from other potential acrappers simply because it used up a space.
Really hope Negus does not go the same way. Doubt it will survive on Father Xmas visits!!!

Thanks Graham, I know she looked pretty tatty from the outside but didn't realise what a state she was in.

Apparently the A330 suffered a nose gear collapse yesterday.

The 330 was deliberately placed on its nose for the film work. Apparently, due to finish today whereupon it will be restored to normal u/c and presumably repositioned.
