Tracked earlier on ADS-B, reg showing ? but oefou shown in flight number space. It came north over South Staffs before making some maneovres, and heading southbound. Assume a test flight. I was able to eyeball and confirm the reg with bins but it was brief before it disappeared behind buildings. I'm pretty sure it is a Diamond DA42, definitely a twin with winglets. I can't find any registration info on OE-FOU. I guess it's a new reg and perhaps destined for UK register.
Any further info gratefully received.
Thank you

Hi Deke, OE-FOU currently showing on PlaneBase as a Tecnam P2006T c/n 125. Not casting any aspersions regarding your id skill but the Tecnam also has winglets I believe.

Hi Deke, OE-FOU currently showing on PlaneBase as a Tecnam P2006T c/n 125. Not casting any aspersions regarding your id skill but the Tecnam also has winglets I believe. That makes a lot more sense. I only saw it for a couple of seconds, and initially thought Partenavia as it seemed chunkier than a Diamond but with the winglets and the OE- reg my mind played tricks about what I'd seen. If I'd twigged the high wing I'd have realised it couldn't be the DA.
So, that's great, and thanks so much for the confirmation.
