Such a great film John, used to be one of my dear old Dad's favourites. If I recall, there are a fair few shots of B-47s as well. Imagine walking down the runway at Carswell sixty years ago and seeing all those machines there.

Hi John, Outstanding movie, watched it twice in the last 10 days… Think Channel 4 had it on a loop…. Some serious pan-shots of Carswell AFB with dozens of B-36’s and B-47’s… A sight none of us will ever see again. Wouldn’t mind betting that Dave (basing) will have quite a few photos of each once he returns from his vacation to Oman… The best I can do is a partial view of the B-36 which is housed at Pima Air Museum, Tucson Arizona. Photo taken in May of this year… It’s pitiful but I can’t find the actual shot!! Bill
