Hi folks - if you ever get fed up of the festive TV fodder and want a military history break - then this one might be of interest - best watched on the big telly and it shows the story of a remarkable man - Winkle Brown. I've no idea how long ago this was released but this story popped up on YouTube 2 days ago.
Clearly a great man who has an affinity for Germany but did all the right things - this is his story. Quite how he avoided death on countless occasions is beyond me but I suppose he was one of the lucky few alive to tell the story!
