I am giving earlier notice for this film, it stars Sean Connery and Ian McShane (Lovejoy fame). The star of the film is a Mey-Air Boeing 737-200 , which has been hi-jacked. The film was made at Oslo Airport and has aviation interest through out. It is quite a good film as one would expect starring Sean Connery, and perhaps a good watch on a cold winters night . Talking Pictures TV Sunday 10th Jan 7pm.
Mey-Air were a short lived Norwegian IT Charter airline starting in 1970 with a CV-240. During their short lived existence they leased a Namc YS-11 (LN-MTA) , and in 1971 purchased two brand new B.737-200s (LN-MTC & MTD), in 1974 due to not being able to repay Boeing the Airline ceased trading. Although not frequent visitors, I was lucky to see both 737s at Gatwick back in the good old days.

Blimey, Howard.
That jogged a few memories… My first love flew back to Stockholm on 10th August 1972 on LN-MTC, LN-MTD was also at LGW the same day.
By the sounds of it that makes me a lucky boy, well I was then….
I’ll look out for the movie.
