19th March 2015 - Culdrose, Bodmin and Newquay

Two nights away working so called in at a few fields during my travels. If my memory serves me, the Wildcats were on a special visit to Culdrose and were all easily viewable from the fence line down past the visitors' area. I went to the Cornwall Air Ambulance hangar to the south of the airfield, asked if I could have a look, and having been told "yes", popped a fiver in to the collecting tin and got a guided tour of the hangar and the two resident helis. Everything logged was a frame.

Hi Graham , nice log of your trip . Around half seven or so this morning ( Sunday 19/03 ) I noticed a LOT 737 pinging on the ground at Newquay but it seems you missed it . you mention visiting the Air Ambulance hangar at Culdrose . I am probably wrong , but I thought they were at Newquay only . At Newquay did you see any signs of the 'Museum' moving yet ? Thanks . Chrisj

The log was from 2015. When I said that I went to the CAA hangar to the south of the airfield, I meant Newquay.
