Had another trip out today, hoping to see the Dutch and Norwegian F-35s at Lakenheath. Was very fortunate to see one Norwegian departing for home at 08.55 as I approached the airfield. The other didn’t appear for the time that I was there. it was a very quiet morning other than that- just a pair of F-15s departing and then returning a couple of hours later to bash the circuit.
Then around midday it all picked up- In a half hour period 10 USAF and the 4 Dutch F-35s departed along with at least half a dozen F-15s (didn’t pay too much attention to these as not needed)

You beat me to a log I arrived bit earlier than you but stopped at Cambridge and Stansted quickly on the way back only to get stuck for an hour between North Weald trying to get to the M25.
By the time I got home to get Petrol at Costco,Reading you had posted !!!

I heard the m11 was a nightmare shortly after I went through. Fortunately I’d rushed back to get home at a reasonable time! Was the Indian Herc visible at Cambridge?

I got a text at 1230 from a friend coming back from Waddington that both were outside but KC-3804 was arse on poor view.
Iarrived at at 3pm to see it being towed onto runway to be taken to the large original hanger, where I watched it being pushed into.
