A short trip report and grizzle on a non-spotting holiday in Arillas Corfu (North West of the Island and an hour from the airport by road)
Anyhow we flew out on a Finnair OH-LXK Airbus A320 214 (subbing for BA) on 2nd June returning on 9th (More about that later!!)
By the way my report relates to only those I require apart from flight out and back

At the resort a few aircraft were noted taking off from the airport at 15,000 feet or so flying over and with the help of flight radars managed to capture those not hidden in the heat haze.

A lovely break with family and freinds until the journey home.
This was a bit of a nightmare in as much as the flight due to pick us up diverted to Zagreb because of an alleged unruly passenger on the way out to Corfu.
Whatever this individual(s) got up to caused the plane to ‘Go Tech’ it could not continue its journey leaving us stranded!
I won’t bore you with the ins and outs of the chaos it caused our end, but needless to say we were put on a flight later that evening whilst my youngest, his partner and their 18 month year old had to find transfers/accommodation food etc off their own backs, with absolutely no assistance from BA.
My wife and myself tried to swap, so they could go home in our place but the handling staff said this was not possible, despite everything we tried. (They had to go on booking.com at the airport to find a hotel for the night!) Absolute shambles!!!
None of us were happy with the lack of assistance BA provided and to cap it off when we did arrive back at Heathrow we were notified that our bags didn’t come back with us!!!
(We eventually received our bags on Sunday evening having arrived back on Friday night! GRRRRRRrrrrrr)
Sorry still fuming at BA. I suppose I should vent my frustration at the idiot(s) who caused the plane to Divert in the first place and not here. (Apologies for that)
Anyhow another rammed Finnair A320 OH-LXI Airbus A320 214 1989 bought us home
Obviously complaints and compensation requests have been submitted. I am tempted never to fly BA again as this is the 2nd time BA have caused issues to me and my family. They are rarely on time, the service is also pretty meh! Unfortunately I have already booked flights to Valencia with them in September!

A couple of requests if anyone can assist
There were two PZL M-18 Dromader Firefighting planes parked up when we arrived on 2nd and when we left on 9th (opposite the terminal)
If anyone can ID these two machines it would be appreciated.
Also on 9th whilst at the airport a 'largish' (Presumably military) helicopter with an index I read off as 22071 landed /crossed the airfield.
Can anyone assist with the identification of this as I cannot find it anywhere at all despite searching left right and centre!
