A call in to the lay-by on sunday on way home from Fairford . A lot of the airliners have gone although a few hang on . Among the many sections on the Belfast site was a cabin shell of a helicopter . All I could see on it was 'POLICE' and no sign of a registration . Chrisj

After going through my RIAT photos I have got to Kemble on my way home . In my shot of G-COTH there are several sections/noses of chopped airliners . To the right of the MD90 and to the back , is what could be a 737 without a fin . The fence gets in the way but I can just about make out 73*8(or B)* DG , low down below where a fuselage line would be . A view from slightly different angle shows F-GTAH at the rear . Could the markings I note be nothing to do with a registration or another frame other than F-GTAH ? Nothing noted on the Kemble Spotting site . Probably markings giving type or similar ! chrisj

Hi Chris N29105 is listed in the scrapping area, so you probably read the model on the lower B737-800 (Photo on web) Regards Graham.

thanks Graham , that is very much my line of thought so nice to have it confirmed . I have found several times that by studying photos taken along the scrap line , that items previously not noted are found . Chris
