Egeskov Castle some 30km from Odense in Denmark houses collections of cars, bikes, fire wagons (as posted earlier) and aircraft. Star for me last week was my last Danish Draken. The CF104 I saw at Mildenhall back in 1982, having previously spent its entire life based in Europe with the Canadian Air Force having been delivered to 434Sq at Zweibrucken on my birthday in 1962. It was delivered to the Danes from overhaul at Prestwick in 1972 and served with them till 1987. I don’t do gliders but may be of interest to those that do.
