Mildenhall & Lakenheath 2/2/24

Been a little while since I last visited Mildenhall and Lakenheath. But, despite a slightly dodgy looking weather forecast, I ventured up on Friday 2nd February. First time i've encountered Quick Climb Friday and I have to say standing at 06 end its pretty awesome, even if my ability to capture it on camera needs a lot more practice. This, together with the improving weather, a lot of activity at Mildenhall (e.g. 5 X KC135 stream take off in conjunction with Middle East ops), KC46s at Mildenhall and all 4 RAVN Hawks taking to the air provided for quite a successful trip. I’ve been up to Mildenhall and Lakenheath quite regularly the past few months, have yet to see any of the Hawk’s… They look pretty slick and your photos are all excellent mate.
