With the weather still awful, we head into BST and "spring", hopefully we might get some clear skies at some time this year....

Well, despite the appalling weather, March didn't end up as bad as I thought it had been. Only visits were to Kemble to see the Grobs, and a stop by Castle Air at Liskeard where I was able to ID two of the three A109 cabins around the back of the hangars. I did drive past Staverton a couple of times and Popham, Thruxton and Bodmin once each but the weather was atrocious and I just didn't want to get soaked so didn't bother stopping. I also made an Apache that buzzed the Ilminster bypass on the way back from working in Cornwall and two helis at low level whilst working in Southampton.

Good to see some of you getting some joy in April, not so much luck my way. If there's been any patches of blue I've either not been able to take advantage or there's been precious little of interest showing through.
Four blank days to conclude March were followed by four more to start April so this is all I've got to report thus far.

Driving home from working in Southampton at around 2pm yesterday, weather was crap, didn't expect to see anything all day, but driving through the village of Potterne on the A360 about three miles from home I saw this wingless on a trailer in a layby. PlaneBase says the owner lives in Potterne.
