British Airways 50th anniversary

Saw this today and had forgotten that the airline as we know it today is now 50 have started under one name on the 1st April 1974. In a way this it what bought me to plane spotting way back then. I don't know why, possibly lots of news announcing the Negus scheme made me look at aircraft more even though they had been passing very close over my head since birth for the previous the 10 years but I have no recollection of those piston to early jet days :-(. The 74 CAM was adorned with G-AWNN in the Negus colours as well which probably had a factor as this was my first CAM purchased.
