with the Vulcan doing its "tour" I decided to stay away from MCR and Barton. A friend was racing in the Superstock 600 class, so I though kill two birds with one stone. Get some Photos for him and practice my low shutter speed panning technique. Terrific shots Chris ...I like those slow speed pans..must try some.
Never been a bike fan myself but Oulton Park ! That place revives some memories...Jim Clark and Graham Hill side by side in Lotus Cortinas, Surtees and Jackie Stewart, and the exotic machines of Gardner and Gurnie...can't believe they raced Galaxies and Falcon Sprints plus all the Mustangs and Camaros !
Those were the days...19 hundred and flippin heck !!
Ah well dreaming over !

showing your age now John I find motor racing is a good way to practise slow shutter panning cos the keep coming back round to give you another chance, some shots I got are as low as 1/80sec
