Ladies & Gents, the link on the navvy bar to the new FAB forum has been removed, as maybe some might have noticed. When the old FAB forum slipped beneath the waves six months ago, three new ones sprang up quickly to replace it - Peter's excellent Blackbushe forum to cover all things Blackbushe, the new Farnborough forum to cover all things FAB plus a bit extra, and our AFA forum to pretty much cover everything else. The hand of friendship was extended to both the new FAB forum and to Peter's forum; Peter accepted and the two forums seem to work very well together. The offer of "friendship" was not accepted by the new FAB forum and despite us placing a link on our navvy bar to that forum to help promote it, the goodwill has never been reciprocated, hence I have removed it today.
Needless to say, anyone who has been using the link can still access the FAB forum via usual channels, but not via AFA.
Jeff has kindly offered to start posting FAB movements as of tomorrow.
Thanks

Thanks for that Graham,I wondered where it disappeared to.I know a lot of the guys who run the "new" Farnborough site and honestly I'm surprised that the offer of friendship was never reciprocated.Next time I see them at Eelmoor bridge I may have a little word in their shell like.

Thanks Dave, Jeff as I say offered the hand of friendship and the response we got was essentially, " not interested, may the best forum win" which seems rather churlish to me. We've done our bit to promote their forum for six months, hoping that they would do the same, but it has never been forthcoming so it's time to say, "no more".

Such a shame that some people in this hobby that we all share can be a little bit childish at times.

It is a shame Chris but as they say, "there's nowt as queer as folk". I'm sure the link we provided gained them some new members, as it certainly did for Peter's excellent forum, but enough is enough. It's been totally one sided and after talking to Jeff, we decided to remove the link.
