My pleasure Bob, one place I'd give my right arm to visit. Some very old and rare marques there as well.

Graham - you must go, its just something else and there are many other places of interest in the area, including for the family. Have been going roughly every 3 years since 1980, even family holidays to the Pacific Northwest & Yellowstone started there. Sadly many of the civilian owned storage yards around the perimeter which once contained many hundreds of mostly ex AMARC aircraft have been cleared but there's still around a couple of hundred or so to be seen. Plus the fabulous Pima museum is right next door (which runs daily - except weekends - bus trips inside AMARC) and the civil storage facility at Marana is just up the road. I always hire a Cessna for an overflight photo shoot of AMARC and a landing at Marana, which will also take you over the likes of the local airfields at Avra Valley and Ryan Field which does great breakfasts. Let me know if you manage a trip and I'll give you some tips.
