Arrived at Lasham just after 8am with quite a lot already going on. Met up with Jerry and had a cuppa in the café during which time both Dave and Bobby arrived. Bob told us that he had seen the manager and that he would be happy to provide an escorted tour on one of the buggies for a fiver each which was great value. Ben, our driver took us out across the field to see the dozens of gliders lined up ready to go, then down along the hedgeline and then an added bonus, drove across to the huge new hangar where we were allowed access.
I logged 89 in all, although there must have been at least 20 or 30 that were competing but were still covered. Big thanks to Ben for his friendliness, great to meet Bobby and Jerry and always good to see me old mucker Dave.
Full log to follow but it looks like I've made over 60 of those already logged.

Yes, was great to meet Graham, Dave and Bob. Graham,I logged 89 as well, have not checked your list but should be the same ones as we were together all the time! I made 43.
Do you have types and c/NS for D-KLOG, ZS-GBR and ZS-GCE? Google searches were fruitless.

hi graham , good to put faces to names had a good time as you say, I stuck around until 1 o,clock but there was no action so I spent some time talking to the people involved with the proceedings and they said it was highly unlikely they would fly today as they needed thermals that were not there . so I asked the question were all the aircraft on the grid the aircraft that went up yesterday and the answer was yes and they stay the same until the last day or if anyone should drop out which hadn,t happened regards bob

Hi Jerry, I found a rather limited S African register but it reckons ZS-GCE was registered in 1960 which can't be right surely? It says it's a T41A Skylark c/n 1252 but I don't think that is a current register.

ZS-GCE is a Jonker JS.1B Relevation.
Lasham is only about 6 miles from here- would have liked to come and meet you all, but some of us have to work...! I'll try and get there this week as there are a few I need in your list. Saw G-AHAG over my house this evening which was great as I'd hoped it would be at Woburn, but it wasn't there.
